“Counting together” | OCRG in Municipal World

The September 2019 issue of Municipal World features an article written by founding co-directors and project manager Sharon Jeannotte, Diana Carter and Ben Dick speaking to the way in which government and the cultural community were able to come together to develop and release the Counting on Culture report in 2017 – 2018.

The article provides a high-level overview of the Counting on Culture report while also speaking to the broader importance of research in cultural planning.

Municipal World is a key source of information for those working in municipalities across the country and the inclusion of the OCRG’s work in the September issue speaks to the significant and, in many ways, ground-breaking nature of the approach to collaboration taken by the group.
